CBSE XII TERM-I EXAMINATION 

EXTRA GUIDELINES 

As CBSE is Going to conduct TERM-1 EXAMS with Objective Questions( MCQ) and starting this year for first time,all students are worried about Exam pattern,procedure and guidelines. In view of above CBSE issuing guidelines time to time to clear all doubts.

Here are some KEY POINTS of NEW GUIDE LINES issued recently..

QUESTION: OMR SHEETS availability: 

CLARIFICATION:

OMR sheets will be available on CLOUD & downloaded from there by schools.

QUESTION: QUESTION PAPERS AVAILABILITY?

CLARIFICATION:

Encrypted Question Papers will be sent to school/Exam Centre in the morning.  

QUESTION: CLASSES DURING EXAMS?

CLARIFICATION:

Class room teaching work for classes except X & XII will be done between 08:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

QUESTION: EXAMINATION TIME LINE?

CLARIFICATION:

Class X & XII exam between 11:30 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. and OMR sheet to be submitted in the exam control room by 01:30 p.m.

QUESTION: 

EVALUATION of SCRIPTS?

CLARIFICATION:

Evaluation will start from 01:30 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. 

QUESTION: COVID 19 SAFETY& SOCIAL DISTANCING?

CLARIFICATION:

As Covid-19 protocol, 12 students seating arrangement is to be done in one room.

QUESTION: 

If MORE students in one Centre?

CLARIFICATION:

Centre having strength of 500 students – One Observer, more than 500 students – Two Observers. 

QUESTION: 

Observer Appointment and deployment?

CLARIFICATION:

City Coordinator will appoint observer & change observer in between as per need/request. 

QUESTION: 

AVAILABILITY of ANSWER Scripts to Teachers?

CLARIFICATION:

Answer key will be available by 01:30 p.m., teachers of any subject can check the OMR Sheet. 

QUESTION: 

Who will upload Correct Answers?

CLARIFICATION:

The evaluator has to upload number of correct answers. 

QUESTION: 

What if OMR not properly circled?

CLARIFICATION:

Hand written answer will be final if it does not tally with dark circle.

Payment for Evaluation?

CLARIFICATION:

Separate remuneration for invigilator & evaluation. 

QUESTION:

Evaluation done at and sent to?

CLARIFICATION:

Evaluation will be done in the centre of exam & OMR sheets are to be sent to RO CBSE by 05:00 p.m. the same day. 

QUESTION: 

Any Instruction to Students?

CLARIFICATION:

Students OMR Sheet will be printed fully with all details such as name,board roll number,subject,date,centre and school name. You just have to note down your OMR Sheet number in your question paper for future reference and must write down Question Paper code in OMR sheet .

QUESTION: 

Term -1 Practicals ?

CLARIFICATION:

Schools have to conduct Term 1 practicals or collect internal assessment projects on or before 23 December 2021 and also no external examiner is appointed to look after it (Schools have to do it among themselves)

SPECIAL EXAM DAY INSTRUCTIONS to Students?

* Reach Exam Centre By 10:30 am

* Exam Time-11:10 am to 1:00 pm (20 minutes reading)

* After Term 1 Exam, *Marks scored* by candidates in Term 1 will be released within few days.

* Final Result will be declared after Term 2 that's why category of pass/fail will be assigned after adding the total marks scored in both terms.

If a candidate fails to score passing marks (above 33% accumulated) then he/she will be assigned for category of compartment exams/essential repeat.

* Separate Sheet will be provided to do rough work and it will be submitted to school but not be corrected.

* By 9th of November,  You will be informed about permitted items to bring at exam centre and Admit card.
