NEET SEATS ALLOTMENTS RESERVATION POLICY

MBBS Seat Allotments done as per following Reservation Policies

Out of 100% Seats They are decided in to 

(1)  STATE QUOTA(SQ) - 85%

(2) ALL INDIA QUOTA(AIQ) - 15%

In 85% State Quota MBBS seats are divided as follows:

 for 

(1) Scheduled Castes (SC) - 15% seats , 

(2)  Scheduled Tribes (ST) - 6% of seats

(3) Backward Classes (BC) - 29% 

This 29% of the available seats reserved for candidates belonging to Backward Classes

• BC-A -7%
• BC-B-10%
• BC-C-1%
• BC-D-7%
• BC-E-4%

(4) WOMEN QUOTA : 33 1/3% of seats in state wide institutions guaranteed for women candidates in each category i.e., Open Competition, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Classes Groups A, B, C, D & E, Army quota and other reservations. This regulation of guarantee shall not be applicable if women candidates selected on merit in each category form 33 1/3% or more of the seats there in.

(5) The Special category reservation 

 (A) For. CAP (Army) 1 %, 

(B) National Cadet Corps 1 %, 

(C) Sports and Games 0.50%, 

(D) Physically Challenged 5 % 

(E) Police Martyrs Children (PMC) 0.25%.

(6) Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Quota 

10% of total seats reserved for EWS Category in specified Government Medical Colleges.
